But before that, we held our mid-winter event at the Awakeri Hot Springs which was attended by about a dozen motorhomes/caravans with others hiring a cabin for the weekend. The hot pools were inviting and we spent many hours soaking in the warm water.
Reece tried to organise a sand mural day at Waihi Beach but unfortunately this had to be cancelled twice due to the fickle weather. He is hoping to hold this in February 2022.
We did gather for our annual 'Picnic at Pyes Pa' weekend at a private property which was a very relaxed event. We invited our artist friends to come along to sketch naked models in an outdoor setting.
With events now under a cloud again due to an omicron outbreak in NZ, we will carry on as best we can and try to keep in touch by newsletter until another opportunity comes along.
